Business Solutions Consultant

Atlantic DataSystems Inc. is the largest Sage solution provider and development partner in Newfoundland and Labrador. A subsidiary of zedIT Solutions, we work in concert with their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) practice to continue our tradition of outstanding service and support to small and mid-sized businesses across Canada.

We provide our clients with Sage ERP software, support, training, consulting and custom software development. Our strong delivery of Sage ERP Accpac and its related products have enabled us to develop robust product expertise, which we are able to leverage to benefit our clients. We are currently looking for a Business Solutions Consultant to join our growing team.

In this hands on role, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with our customers to define and document their detailed business requirements and shape their ERP solution
  • Project management for new and existing SMB clients on upgrades/cross grades and changes of accounting systems
  • Leading client communications from kick-off meeting through project sign-off
  • Providing on-going support and issue resolution
  • Supporting the internal and external sales efforts as required

We are seeking candidates that will bring the following skills and experience:

  • Business degree from a recognized post-secondary institution (or equivalent) and progressive business experience
  • Accounting/finance knowledge, including work with accepted accounting practices and standards
  • Previous experience with ERP products and solutions
  • Self motivated and driven to achieve success within a consulting environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Superior written and communication skills
